8.8/10 Excellent! (1,010 reviews)
Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would go again. Here’s some notes about our stay. Good: - Entire resort was amazing - Impressive views - All inclusive food, drinks, and spa - Many delicious food options - Free shuttle to/from Cabo Marina where they have a sister hotel and all inclusive availability - Received free upgrade to much larger residence with pool and spa (probably doesn’t happen all the time) - Overall resort was clean - Nice amenities like pickleball court, putting greens, basketball court, many pools, and bike paths - Friendly staff - Proximity to airport and offsite activities Could be Better: - A little bit of pressure to sign up to be a resort owner - Our residence had a few bugs in the pool and at night coming into the room under the door - Got bug bites - One of the bathrooms smelled bad from the water drain (covered it but still smelled) - Having a driver in a golf cart take us around the resort was nice, but was 50% late picking us up from our residence - Didn’t realize til we were there that you can’t go onto the beach and swim (too rocky) - All inclusive has a Premium option that cost a bit more and was only offered at check-in (lets you have better steaks, lobster, premium drinks, and access to adult only spa) - Some construction from new hotel being built next to resort (When complete, the new hotel will block some of the amazing views)

8.2/10 Very good! (250 reviews)
We are from Canada, we pay a greater amount for all travel than many other countries, maybe we are setting our standards too high. We believe the staff are doing the best they can with what they have to work with. We understand tourism in this area is down up to 40% and the funds aren’t available for overall property maintenance but basics and standards can still be met. Our experience at this hotel has been extremely disappointing. The level of cleanliness, maintenance, hygiene, and service is simply unacceptable. The pools, and hot tubs are slimy, green and you cannot see to the bottom. They did not clean the main pool until we made comments. The mold/musty odor in our room is extremely strong, particularly at night. It is so bad that we had difficulty sleeping and woke up with a sore throat. This has seriously affected our comfort and enjoyment of our stay. One of the chairs in the dining area of our room has visible mold. The dining area is also poorly maintained. The chairs appear to have mold, and the curtains are dirty and in poor condition. Even more concerning, one morning at the breakfast buffet, we found visible mold on the sliced bread. Food with visible mold should never be available for guests to consume. The staff removed the two slices but not the entire loaf of slices. There is also a water leak directly outside of our room. The floor becomes extremely slippery, creating an obvious safety hazard. Instead of properly repairing the leak, the hotel has simpl

We stayed here with our two children and had a really nice, relaxing stay. We requested a room close to the pool and beach before arrival and they were able to accommodate our request, which made things much easier for us. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Whenever we needed something, they responded quickly and made sure we had what we needed. Our room was clean and spacious. There were a lot of food options overall, although I wish there had been a little more variety. Most of the food we tried was good. We really liked the pools. The water temperature was comfortable for the kids—not too cold or too warm—and having multiple pools was nice because it didn’t feel too crowded. The beach was also very easy to get to. Unfortunately, it was quite windy while we were there and the waves were strong, so we weren’t able to swim in the ocean. The one thing I would say is that there aren’t a lot of activities for a 9-year-old, so it might get a little boring if you’re staying for a longer time, I think having more activities for older children would make it even better. Overall, we had a comfortable and peaceful stay and would definitely recommend it, especially for families with young children.
